This is a handmade terracotta planter with a white speckle glaze — earthy clay body underneath, white spatter on the surface. The contrast is quiet. It reads as a considered glaze choice, not a print or transfer. Each piece comes out of the kiln with a slightly different speckle distribution, which is what you want from something made by hand.

Why Terracotta with This Glaze Works

The terracotta walls stay partially porous even under the speckle glaze, which helps regulate soil moisture. It is gentler on plant roots than dense ceramic.
