White Ribbed Ceramic Planter

This is a handmade ceramic planter with a ribbed surface texture — clean, vertical lines that run the full height of the piece. The white glaze catches the ridges differently in different light, giving the surface a quiet movement without requiring any pattern or decoration. It is the kind of planter that works because it does not demand attention.

What to Plant In It

Trailing plants are the natural fit. Pothos, ivy, or a small monstera will spill over the rim and work against the white and the ribbing in a way that feels considered. It also holds succulents well if the shelf gets enough light. Place it at balcony railing height or on a corner shelf where the plant has room to trail down.

Craft Details

Handmade stoneware with a white glaze applied by hand. The ribbing is formed on the wheel before the glaze goes on, so each ridge has a slight organic variation. Made in small batches by Indian artisans — no two are identical, though they read as a set.
