A planter that tells you exactly what it's made of — chalk-white matte above, raw exposed terracotta below.
The Two-Tone Embossed Terracotta Planter is hand-finished by Indian artisans from natural terracotta earthenware clay. The upper body is coated in a clean chalk-white flat matte finish — completely non-reflective, warm and quiet. The lower body is left deliberately raw — the natural warm orange-brown terracotta clay fully exposed, uncoated, and honest. At the boundary where the two finishes meet, two hand-impressed decorative bands run around the full circumference: a row of evenly spaced circular dot indentations, and immediately below, a band of closely spaced short vertical groove dashes.
The result is a planter that feels considered without trying too hard — suited to small succulents, cacti, air plants, desk herbs, or displayed empty as a standalone decorative piece on a shelf, windowsill, or dining table.

Q: What is this planter made of?
A: The Two-Tone Embossed Terracotta Planter is made from natural terracotta earthenware clay, hand-finished by Indian artisans with a two-tone chalk-white and raw terracotta finish.
Q: What creates the dot and groove pattern?
A: The two decorative bands — a row of dot indentations and a band of vertical grooves — are hand-impressed at the boundary where the white and raw finishes meet.
Q: Why does the decoration vary slightly between pieces?
A: Each piece is individually hand-finished and impressed, so minor variations in the decoration bands and colour transition are a natural characteristic of the handmade process, not a defect.
Q: What are the dimensions?
A: 10 cm tall and 10.5 cm wide.
Q: What works well in this planter, or can it be left empty?
A: Small succulents, cacti, air plants, and desk herbs all suit it well, and it also works as a standalone decorative piece displayed empty.
