Rose Terracotta Planter
Rose Terracotta Planter
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a hand-thrown terracotta planter with a rose motif worked into the surface. The motif is understated — pressed or carved before firing, not painted on. The terracotta itself is unglazed or lightly treated, which means the walls stay porous. That matters for roots.
Why Terracotta Works for Plants
Porous walls let excess moisture escape, which prevents overwatering — one of the most common reasons indoor plants fail. The earthy, warm tone of the terracotta works with almost any plant, but trailing plants like pothos or ivy look especially good against it. A balcony corner or a windowsill with direct morning light is the natural home for this one.
Craft Details
Hand-thrown on a potter's wheel, then the rose motif is applied before bisque firing. Made in small batches by Indian artisans. Because the clay is worked by hand, the wall thickness varies slightly and the motif sits differently on each piece. This is not inconsistency — it is evidence of how it was made.
Suitable for indoor and semi-sheltered outdoor use. Do not leave submerged in water. Wipe exterior with a dry cloth. Dimensions in product images.
