Craft Details

Hand-crafted in India from 100% ceramic, this vase is shaped and face-detailed individually before the matte glaze application. The charcoal black matte finish is fired at high temperature to lock in the depth of colour. The Moai facial detailing — the nose ridge, the brow line — is carved by hand, so each piece carries a slight variation in line depth. The narrow 5 cm mouth is sized for single-stem arrangements or dried branches.
