This is a wheel-thrown ceramic desk planter — compact in form, considered in detail. The body is hand-shaped on a potter's wheel, which means each piece carries subtle variations in its curve and surface. A slender golden metal stand lifts it just enough to give it presence on a narrow desk or windowsill ledge.
What It Holds Well
Made for succulents, small cacti, and trailing plants like string of pearls or mini pothos. The opening is sized for a small pot or direct planting with a drainage layer. It works in corners where there isn't much room — the kind of spot that needs one quiet thing, not a cluster.
Craft Details
Wheel-thrown stoneware. The glaze is applied by hand and fired at high temperature — the finish is smooth with a slight depth. Each planter is made in small batches by Indian artisans, which means no two are identical. The golden stand is powder-coated metal, designed to stay stable on flat surfaces.
